Overview
Cluster is the oldest variety grown in the U.S. The rootstock origin in uncertain. Until the late 70's, Cluster was one of only a few varieties growing in the U.S. and was planted to most of the hop acerage. Alpha acids content is medium, aroma is strong and storage stability of alpha acids is among the best in the world. The variety grows with good vigor and cone production.

an English variety and an US male hop.

Growth Habit Vigorous but manageable

affected by Prunus necrotic ring-spot virus.
