Pedigree bred in England in 1934, it's a cross between American wild hop and English male. They are grown in Germany, UK, and the US. Dual purpose hop with good aroma. Maturity is early to mid-season. Resistant to mildews and insects. Meduim cone structure and somewhat tight, prone to develop leaves in cones. Medium to strong aroma. Alpha acids 6-10%, Beta acids 3-5%. Cohumulone 27-32% of alpha acids. Very good storage stability. Total oil 1-1.6 ml/100g. Mycrene % of total oil 25-45% German; 50-60% US. Humulene 35-50% of total oil. Caryophyllene 10-20% of total oil. Farnesene <1% of total oil.
